BOOKLAT LITERACY AND ENRICHMENT CLASS

WHAT IS BOOKLAT?

BOOKLAT is derived from an English word “book” and a Filipino word “lat” which refers

to “Aklat”, when put together it forms a Filipino term “BUKLAT or BOOKLAT” which means to

open a book or to turn the pages of a reading material.

To create an environment to serve the young generation of Chicago and their families in which

they will encounter God and experience His love, give academic enrichment support, build true

relationships, and equip them with the Word as they engage the community around them.
